Simple jumpers with solid-insert, gold-plated terminals make it very easy to configure these subs for series or parallel applications. Dual-Woven Tinsel Leads with terminals on the same side can handle heavy gauge speaker wire.
A venting system forces hot air out and cool air in, keeping the voice coils cool. In addition, a dual flare pole allows cool air to flow into the motor structure across the copper shorting sleeves and heat dissipation plate to increase the cooling effect. Better cooling means better performance and longer life.
This surround is created from injectionmolded multi-roll SantopreneTM to handle the higher excursion and incredible SPL the sub is capable of.
The cone uses an exotic carbon fiber, aluminium honeycomb material. The underside is Kevlar-reinforced pulp for added strength and stiffness, which maximises bass while minimising mass.
Simple jumpers with solid insert terminals for optimum connection make it easy to configure these subwoofers. The terminals utilise the new Dual Woven Tinsel Leads design (patent pending), and are located on the same side. They are built to handle heavy gauge speaker wire and can easily be wired for series or parallel applications.
This unique frame design and construction (patents pending) provides the ultimate in airflow, which keeps hot air from coming back into contact with the coil. Cool air rushes in through the dual flare pole vent across the copper shorting sleeves with heat dissipation plate and under the unique spider plateau vent, which is integrated into the leg/frame. Hot air is then pushed out the one-way vent. It’s an ingenious system that results in better performance and longer speaker life.
