2.7” High resolution LCD ScreenA camera of this class demands the very best TFT LCD, and at a generous size of 2.7" and a resolution of 230,000 pixels, you can't get much better. Sensing ambient light, the LCD automatically adjusts brightness for optimum viewing indoors or outdoors. Manual control can provide additional brightness. Unlike other inferior cameras, the LCD is protected by a scratch resistant, reinforced acrylic protective shield, so even if loose in a pocket, the LCD has its own in-built protection. The extra-large LCD makes it easy to frame your photos and playback the results to friends in brilliant, rich colour.  Convenient xD , SD and SDHC compatibilityThe FinePix F100fd features an xD/SD compatible slot, allowing the use of either xD Picture Card, SD or SDHC media to store and transfer your photos. This will give you the flexibility to buy the card you want, use cards from previous cameras, or choose the media that fits with your other desktop devices like laptops, PDAs or card readers.
 Internal memoryThe FinePix F100fd makes it possible for you to get that picture even if your memory card is full. The 57MB of internal memory built into this compact model provides enough storage for up to 88 photographs, (at 2MP setting), and ensures that you will never have to miss that special shot. Think of it as your internal insurance policy for photo opportunities. With that said, the main storage for images on the F100fd should be an additional memory card, which will allow you to accommodate almost as many images as you like.
